Shri Anup Gupta is a Chemical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He joined GAIL (India) Limited as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1993 and has accumulated 33 years of valuable experience in Petrochemicals, Process plant and Projects.

With over three decades of experience in the petrochemical industry, Shri Anup Gupta is an established industry leader with extensive expertise spanning upstream and downstream petrochemical operations, large-scale project execution, and strategic plant leadership.

He presently holds the position of Executive Director (PDH-PP Projects) at GAIL Petrochemical Complex, Usar (Maharashtra), where he is leading the construction of India’s first Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) unit integrated with a Polypropylene (PP) plant, with a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, and timely project execution.

As a proposed Nominee Director on the Board of Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL), Shri Anup Gupta brings valuable industry experience and governance perspective.
